Spot TV
Watch Your Dancer in Action!
Dance Moves of Charleston is proud to partner with Spot TV, allowing families to view their dancer's class from anywhere.
Spot TV is a third-party service used by dance studios and childcare centers across the country to provide secure classroom viewing for families.
Getting Started

Step 1
Download the Spot TV Family app from the App Store or Google Play Store, or create an account online.

Step 2
Create your account using the same parent information listed on your Dance Moves account.

Step 3
Select your dancer's class during setup. Don't worry if you select the wrong class — our staff will verify and adjust class assignments during the approval process.

Step 4
Wait for approval. All accounts are manually approved by our administrative team and may take 2–3 business days to process. We only approve one Spot TV account per dancer.
Important Information
Closed Set Viewing
For student safety, you will only be able to view your dancer's assigned class during their scheduled class time. Outside of class time, the system will display "Closed Set."
No Screenshots or Screen Recordings
Screenshots and screen recordings are strictly prohibited. Any screenshot or recording activity will automatically block your account and require manual review before access can be restored. Repeated violations may result in permanent loss of access.
Automatic Logouts
Spot TV will periodically log you out as a security measure. Simply log back in to continue viewing. Apple users can enable Face ID for quicker access.
Audio Quality
Audio quality may vary depending on classroom activity. We recommend keeping your device volume low while viewing.
Troubleshooting
If you are unable to view your dancer's class:
- 1. Close the app completely.
- 2. Log out and log back in.
- 3. Verify that your dancer is currently in class.
This resolves most issues.
